Rick Ballard
Rick has been involved in a wide range of supply chain projects in the UK and other parts of Europe covering a range of industry sectors. Companies he has advised include many well known names such as Argos, Estee Lauder, and Tesco.
He has worked on Government funded research projects in construction and has written many articles and papers on various supply chain issues.
In recent years he has developed a special interest in the construction industry and is one of the UK’s leading advocates of the need for good supply chain and logistics practice in construction to improve performance.
He was the founding Chairman of the Construction Supply Chain Forum of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and he was a member of both the Integrated Supply Teams Working Group and the Task Group on Logistics set up by the Strategic Forum for Construction.
