Malcolm Waddell
Malcolm supports the Halving Waste to Landfill Commitment by leading in the implementation and development of Material Resource Efficiency strategies to develop exemplars for the industry.
Current areas of focus include logistics, off-site manufacture, supply chain partnerships and providing technical advice to major projects.
Malcolm also manages the sector specific Utilities Industry Agreement which involves Utility Clients, Contractors and Local Authorities improving their sustainability in streetworks.
He also worked as a Project Manager on the WRAP Plasterboard Programme assessing good practices in the recovery of plasterboard from construction and demolition sites and the development of end uses for the recycled gypsum and end facing paper from plasterboard.
His background was in logistics where amongst other roles, he worked as a National Operations Manager for a major retailer’s returns process and as a business development manager.
